Short answerFrom 1 Oct 2026, MOM's revised licence conditions require agencies to advertise helpers with dignity, not use MOM's logo, explain every document before you sign and keep their contact details current. Public helper profiles are limited to six fields.
What a public helper profile may show
Under employment agency licence condition 17, publicly visible helper biodata is limited to: name, nationality, skills and experience, food handling preferences, previous employment history (as recorded in MOM's work pass system) and languages. Other details, including photos, can only go to an employer who requests them.
On this site we go further and do not show names, photos or identifying details on public profiles.
Consent
An agency needs the helper's written consent before sharing her biodata.
Changes from 1 Oct 2026
MOM's EA Alert of 28 Sep 2026 sets out revised licence conditions in force from 1 Oct 2026. Those most relevant to families:
- 17B, dignified advertising: agencies must not publish advertising that presents helpers in an undignified manner, or require helpers to do activities that give the impression they are on display.
- 6C, MOM logo: agencies must not use MOM's logo without explicit approval, or imply they are affiliated with MOM, in advertising.
- 6A, explaining documents: agencies must explain all forms and documents to clients, make sure forms are fully completed, and give enough time to review before signing. Information and advice must be supported by verifiable documents where applicable and communicated in a language the client understands.
- 6B: agencies must not help employers break MOM's laws or guidelines (MOM's example: advising employers to keep the worker's passport).
- 3d: agencies must keep contact details, including operating address, updated in GoBusiness Singapore within five working days.
- 15A: when an employer returns a helper to the agency to find a new employer, the agency bears accommodation, upkeep and medical insurance costs during the transition period, and repatriation costs if no new employer is found before her Special Pass expires.
Web portals
MOM exempts wholly web-based job portals from the licence requirement, provided they do not otherwise match or place workers.
